Dog lover, country bumpkin and far too emotionally invested in musicals, I’ve grown up telling stories since I was child. I’d often sit reading books aloud to myself, and the first job I ever wanted was to be a writer and live on a canal boat…although that was because I really loved Rosie and Jim . . . and wanted a pet duck . . .
The performer in me didn’t really appear until I was a teenager, but as soon as that box was opened, no one was safe! Funnily enough, as well as being a performer and voice actor nowadays, I actually do also work as a writer now. I’ve fulfilled that childhood dream!
Just on dry land.

I have a degree in Drama and Creative Writing from Winchester University and am actually putting it to use! Performing in theatre, films and tv shows since I was 16, I just love creating characters and escaping into them. It’s so freeing. I’ve had the pleasure of playing the likes of Rizzo in Grease, Adelaide in Guys and Dolls and Morticia Addams in The Addams Family Musical.
I’ve also directed and choreographed shows, produced them, worked as an ASM and a DSM, sound technician, props queen . . . let’s just say, I’ve been around! Voiceover work just seemed like a natural addition to all the performing.
Outside of performing, I work as a copywriter, mostly writing blogs, website copy, Amazon listings, social media content and more. I also sell my own artwork, review shows, work in a box office at my local theatre, and other random jobs from time to time. My CV is quite the read!
I’ve always found having a variety of work is more interesting to me. Every day is different! No matter what I’m doing though, it always ends up being something creative.

When I’m not working, I enjoy reading a good fantasy or murder mystery novel, playing Spyro the Dragon on my classic pink PS2, or watching bad horror films – I mean really bad. You know the ones. Below a 5 on IMDB.
I also love to travel, always seeming to end up near a waterfall, and just living like there’s no tomorrow. Just like my dogs do.
